1. Legal Nature of the Accommodation

This establishment is operated as a “Chambres d’Hôtes”, as defined by Article L324-3 of the Code du Tourisme :

• Rooms are located in the owner’s home
• Limited to a maximum of 4 guest rooms and 8 guests
• Accommodation includes overnight stay and continental breakfast
• Guests are hosted by the owner

The establishment has been declared to the local mairie, in accordance with French law

2. Booking & Contract

A booking becomes effective once:

• The guest has returned the booking confirmation (email or written), and
• Full payment has been received

The booking constitutes a contract of seasonal rental governed by French law

3. Cancellation by the Guest

• Cancellation more than 14 days before arrival: all sums paid to be refunded in full
• Cancellation within 14 days of arrival: 100% of the stay may be charged
• No-show (arrival not made by 20:00 without notice): the full stay is due and the room may be re-let

Travel insurance is highly recommended
Early departure does not give rise to any refund

4. Cancellation by the Owner

If, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels the booking, they must :

• Inform the guest as soon as possible
• Refund all monies paid, in accordance with French law

5. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: from 16:00 to 20:00 unless by prior arrangement
• Check-out by 11:00 unless by prior arrangement

Any arrival outside these hours must be agreed in advance
Failure to arrive without notice may be treated as a no-show

6. Breakfast

Continental breakfast is included in the price, in accordance with the legal definition of a Chambres d’Hôtes.

• Served between 08:00 & 10:00
• Special dietary requirements must be notified at the time of booking
• A cooked breakfast is offered at an additional cost per person

7. Use of the Premises

Guests agree to :

• Respect the peaceful nature of the property
• Use the room in a reasonable manner
• Return the room in an acceptable condition

The guest accepts full responsibility for any damage caused during their stay

8. Capacity & Visitors

• The number of guests must not exceed the number stated at time of booking
• Unauthorised additional guests are not permitted
• Day visitors are subject to the owner’s prior agreement

9. Children

• The property is not suitable for children under 12 years
• Children remain under the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians

10. Pets

• Pets are sadly not permitted

11. Smoking

• Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas of the garden, in accordance with public health regulations

12. Liability & Insurance

• The owner holds civil liability insurance as required

However :

• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings
• The owner cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or accidents, except in cases of proven fault

13. Force Majeure

Neither party may be held liable for cancellation or non-performance due to force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)

14. Personal Data (RGPD)

Personal data collected is used solely for :

• Booking management
• Legal and administrative obligations

Data will not be shared with third parties except where required by law, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (RGPD)

15. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law
• Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts
